Overhyped

I've been shopping around for a mouse and I've recently (in the past 2 weeks) tried the Diamondback, the Death Adder, and the Lachesis. The Diamondback and Lachesis share the same flaw imo...they are ambidextrous and therefore the side buttons are not as useable as they should be, and the mouse is not as comfortable to hold as it could be.

I really like the top buttons for adjustable dpi w/o having to install software, but the odd shape, and the difficulty in pressing the buttons is a real turn off for me.

The side buttons are too stiff for me to press w/o moving the mouse quite a bit, but maybe I just have weak fingers. The shape took a while to get used to and is NOWHERE near as comfortable as the Death Adder.

The amazing tracking on this mouse, the number of buttons, and the fact that you can use it w/o installing anything is very nice. Unfortunately the stiff and hard to reach buttons and the awkward shape force me to give this mouse a 7.
