Probably the best wireless gaming mouse.

I've had this one for over a year as well. I think the ergonomics are near perfect. I have had two somewhat major problems occur with this mouse but they can be remedied. First for some reason when I plug in the wireless usb receiving plug directly into the charger (like it is supposed too) then I can't recharge the battery like I want too even on normal charge. So, I need to use up 2 usb ports on my PC to use this mouse correctly. Also, after about a year the scrolling mouse wheel started losing its precision. I had to take apart the mouse (4 Phillips head screws on bottom) and the entire scroll wheel (1 screw) to clean the entire mouse wheel. After doing this though my mouse is just like brand new!

PS: Some people say you have to take off the sticky pads to open this mouse. Screw that I just found something pointy and punctured tiny hole where the screw holes are and then used the correct size Phillips head (small top 2 holes, slightly larger for bottom 2 holes) to unscrew as much as I could. With the battery out I could then separate the two halfÂ's with a little force. Clean and youÂ're good to go!! I notice no diff in smoothness of my mouse after doing this.
A fine mouse, but not perfect

The Logitech G7 is great. Very comfortable, uncomplicated (a good thing) and very portable (there is a detatchable USB stick for this).
However, the battery life is terrible. I find myself swapping batteries every day or so with normal use. Yes, the dual batteries and charger make this easy, but is is still a hassle.

I've had it for over a year and to be honest I've only just realised how much I love it. Sounds odd but I think that's a mark of how good it is, I don't even notice it it's so intuitive and comfortable.
Peice of crap

I was updating to a wireless gamer mouse from my razer copperhead, no problems with the copperhead, I just wanted wireless. Anyway it worked fine for about 7 months after which all these problems flew around, the battery holds like 20 min of play tops with its 3 hour charge, worthless, also the fact its wireless kicks in after a while, the data transfer decreases over time so first its very precise and fast then it becomes a little sluggish and now its just crap. I totally don't recommend this mouse, I went back to my razer copperhead which never had any problems. Keep in mind I play a minimum of 10 hours a day so at 5 hours a day it'll last you a year. If you plan on playing allot don't get this mouse, get a razer, but if you are planning on only 1-2 hours a day tops then go ahead, waste your money.
